Welcome
The National Board Of Orthodontics, U.S. was formed as an independent non-profit certifying body with a two fold mission. First, the Board will certify the training, skills, and experience of Orthodontic practitioners and document advancement through levels of certification. Second, the Board will provide a forum to remain current in clinincal advances and gain practical skills in the profession. Documented by recertification.

Certified Orthodontic Dental Assistant
The National Board Of Orthodontics, U.S. is known for providing a modern practical path to Board Certification for the university trained orthodontist. We are now expanding our program to include professional recognition for Orthodontic Assistants. Certification for Dental Assistants is now required in some states, we have developed a Certification program specifically designed for Orthodontic Assistants.

  Certification has become an imortant part of your professional identify, giving evidence to both patients and colleagues of your experience, education, and ability in your specialty. Until recently, there has been only one way to earn a valid Board Certification in Orthodontics. The National Board Of Orthodontics, U.S., offers a modern and objective path to achieve Board Certification. We are an independant non-profit orgavization, governed by an Advisory Board composed of Orthodontists.

This program is patterned after the other medical and dental specialty boards, in that basic certification is examination-based. We have developed a five-step ladder, enabling you to move voluntarity upward at your own pace, after successful completion of an exam.
